Last night I was looking through Instagram and I saw this faked video of the planet Saturn. The poster said it was from their observatory, but the video was obviously fake. It had a zoom from earth to Saturn (which telescopes don’t zoom like a telephoto lens), and then when Saturn filled the screen, it zooms in again to each moon of Saturn, to the point of filling the space with the moon itself, all in rich detail. It was the quality of the Cassini probe when it was flying by Saturn. So why am I writing about this? Because it’s a waking dream.

A waking dream is a life lesson, it is a message sent by the Mahanta, or by God to assemble our thoughts to the degree of correction. We see something we are doing, or something to learn from. In this case, something to learn from.

The video, in this case, represents a lie. It is a false representation, which is designed to get clicks, views which turn to money.

One person commented that it was fake. I took note of that… and to them was a slew of replies, all angry:

“Didn’t you go to school? This is what Saturn looks like from earth you dummy.”

“You need to get yourself a telescope and you’ll see it just like this.”

The lie (the video) created followers who thought they were correct, even scientific on the matter. Then they reacted with anger at the audacity of claiming it is false. This is similar to how Galileo was threatened by the church of his day, for showing an error in accepted theology (that the Earth was the center of the solar system.)

The lesson for myself is to not attach to truths given, but find the truth through my own direct experience. Direct experience can not be countered with data, or argument, as it is solid on a foundation of observation and spiritual truth is unique to the individual. If I were to rely on someone telling me a truth, and that truth comes to be proven false with modern knowledge, then I would likely react as these people did. It is best to let things be.
